Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design custom orthoses, and supervise OT staff, while coordinating with hand surgeons and physicians to optimize recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehab.
• Provide custom splinting and orthotic fabrication and education.
• Document therapy delivery and progress in patient records.
• Supervise OT assistants, students, and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians on care plans.
• Engage in post-surgical and injury rehab including scar management.
