Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, fabricate orthoses, and educate patients on bracing and exercises as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires a CPP credential and a state PT/OT license, with 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab and experience mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred; graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state PT or OT license; CPR/BLS certification.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and plan of care.
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehab interventions per patient needs.
• Document therapy services and outcomes.
• Directs and supervises OTAs, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians and other therapists; participate in care planning.
• Provide post-surgical and injury rehab including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
