Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in outpatient settings. You will evaluate patients, create custom splints, and develop recovery plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab and a current PT or OT license with CHT certification. You will supervise assistants, educate patients, and participate in interdisciplinary care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient’s age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses andSplints for hand/upper-extremity.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other therapists; participate in case discussions.
