Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role involves patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience, a current PT or OT license, and CHT certification, with CPR/BLS current. Opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OTAs, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for the hand/upper-extremities.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative rehab; scar and edema management; return-to-work rehab.
