Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The incumbent will supervise assistants and students, fabricate orthoses, manage post-surgical and injury rehab, and collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and establish plan of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Provide custom orthotic fabrication and education on wear/care.
• Supervise OTAs, students, and support staff.
• Deliver hand therapy across post-surgical and injury rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other therapists.
