Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting.

You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, fabricate custom orthoses, and educate patients on orthosis use. Collaboration with surgeons and therapists is essential, with leadership and teaching responsibilities for staff and students.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, PTs and other healthcare professionals.
