Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans within a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities cover assessments, therapeutic interventions, supervision of assistants and students, orthosis fabrication, and post-surgical rehab. Eligible candidates hold a PT/OT license, CHT, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
• Evaluate patients and develop personalized plans of care.
• Supervise OT/PT staff and students; lead clinical education as needed.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on usage and precautions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians and other therapists in care planning.
• Ensure documentation of therapy services and outcomes.
