Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, custom splinting, and recovery planning in an outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, active PT or OT license, and CHT certification. Experience in upper-extremity rehab and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation therapies.
• Document delivery of OT services.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
