Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver advanced hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation. You will assess patients, design plans, fabricate custom splints, and educate on use and precautions.

Role includes supervising therapy assistants and collaborating with surgeons and clinicians. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a CHT credential is preferred alongside current PT/OT licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license (required).
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluation and establish plan of care for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation.
• Develop custom splints and orthoses; educate on wear, care and precautions.
• Supervise assistants, students and support staff in therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians in interdisciplinary care planning.
• Document therapy services and progress in patient records.
