Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Duties include patient evaluation, custom splinting, and recovery planning.

The role involves supervising assistants, coordinating with surgeons and therapists, and delivering comprehensive orthotic fabrication and post-surgical care. A Bachelor's degree is required, with PT/OT and CHT credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• CHT credential.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehab.
• Provide custom orthoses and splints fabrication and education.
• Deliver post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
