Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluations, custom splinting, and comprehensive recovery planning.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and therapists, supervise staff and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a DPT or OTD preferred, and current state license.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and establish plan of care for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and custom splinting.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Fabricate and educate on custom orthoses and splints for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Treat post-surgical, orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon/nerve cases and manage wounds and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists and other professionals.
