Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will assess patients, fabricate custom orthoses, and develop recovery plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a CHT credential, with 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab. Licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluation and develop plan of care.
• Design, fabricate, and fit custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses.
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work.
