Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide comprehensive rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and fabricate custom splints.

The role involves collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists, supervising students and assistants, and ensuring accurate documentation of care and outcomes. Prior CH RT certification preferred and CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for upper-extremity rehabilitation.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder therapy and splinting.
• Supervise OTAs, students, and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians on interdisciplinary care.
• Deliver documentation of therapy services and outcomes.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehab, including scar management and return-to-work.
