Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with a DPT or DOT preferred, plus current state PT/OT license and CHT credential. Experience in orthopedic and post-surgical rehab is valued.

Qualifications

• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for upper-extremity conditions.
• Document Occupational Therapy services delivered.
• Direct supervision of assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthoses and splints for hand/upper-extremity.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar and edema care.
