Job summary

Tishman Speyer seeks a Certified Engineer to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment at 407 N Maple. The engineer will specialize in one craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Plant) while being skilled in others.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of college or trade schooling.
• Four years of HVAC central plant operations experience.
• Universal CFC certification if required by building.
• IUOE Local 501 membership within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the facility per applicable government requirements.
• Identify, enforce, and assess safety hazards and risks.
• Record readings and adjust operations for proper equipment function.
• Review monthly service summaries to fix recurring issues.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Maintain HVAC and related systems to standards.
• Respond to tenant inquiries timely and professionally.
• Assist Building Management in emergencies and hazardous situations.
• Comply with policies for hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Keep a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
