Job summary

Healthcare-SN is seeking a Full-Time Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead dietary operations in a skilled nursing setting. You will develop schedules, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure safe food handling.

This role requires CDM certification, 1 year experience, evening/weekend availability, ability to lift 50 lbs, and intermediate computer skills with Excel and Word. Join our team to support resident care and collaborate with the dietitian.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service management experience in a skilled nursing setting.
• Evening and weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage work schedules to cover shifts.
• Train, coach, evaluate, reward, and discipline staff as needed.
• Manage budgets and revenue services.
• Ensure safe receiving, storage, preparation, and service of food.
• Prepare cleaning schedules and maintain equipment for food safety and sanitation.
• Participate in Resident Care Plan Meetings and QAPI Program.
• Attend Resident Food Council Meetings.
• Support Registered Dietitian duties as needed.
• Knowledge of food purchasing and inventory.
