Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will oversee food service quality, inventory, and safety while ensuring compliance with menus and regulations.

This role emphasizes teamwork, training, and excellent resident experiences. The position requires CDM certification, an associate degree or higher in related field, and experience in quantity food production and supervision.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days; FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with teams.
• Residency within service area required.
• Vaccination policies compliance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills for records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food service program at a single site to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel and equipment using HCSG software.
• Train staff and perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from clients and administrators to staff.
• Ensure safe handling, cleaning processes, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with staff, residents, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

CDM certificate

Associate’s degree in food service management or hospitality

Two years’ experience in quantity food production/service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer skills

Residency within service area

COVID-19 vaccination compliance

Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days

Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) within 60 days

Must obtain LTC-FSM within 60 days
