Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager.
• Minimum of two+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other medical facility.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law.
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department per Federal, State and local standards.
• Schedule department hours, personnel and assignments to maintain quality patient care.
• Develop and participate in on-the-job training and orientation for department personnel.
• Schedule and/or conduct monthly in-service for department personnel.
• Hold routine departmental meetings.
• Provide education to other departments regarding dietary services.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60,369.00 - USD $68,540.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide education to other departments in the facility regarding dietary services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager, long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of two+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Reliable transportation required
