Fundamental is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on planning, staff development and ensuring quality patient meals that meet regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Certified Dietary Manager credential, has at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility, and can supervise cost control and dietary programs. Salary ranges from $58,240 to $66,560 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have Certified Dietary Manager credential and long term care experience preferred.
• Minimum of two+ years in supervisory capacity in hospital, skilled nursing facility or related medical facility.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law.
• Any combination of experience and training providing required skills and abilities.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Schedule department working hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., to maintain quality patient care.
• Develop and participate in programs designed for on-the-job training and orientation classes for newly assigned department personnel.
• Schedule and/or conduct a monthly in-service for department personnel.
• Hold routine departmental meetings.
• Provide education to other departments in the facility regarding dietary services.

Posted Salary Range

USD $58,240.00 - USD $66,560.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
