Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily care and medication services in a respectful, home-like environment. You will follow assessment plans and maintain patient dignity while partnering with nurses and supervisors.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, safety protocols, and documenting care and medication effects. Prior home care or long‑term care experience is preferred; state/federal requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor or nurse.
• Help residents walk with or without assistive devices.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and care needs.
• Observe and report changes in emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control policies and ensure a safe environment.
• Administer medications as directed by health care providers.
• Document medication administration and effects per policy.
