Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver to provide routine daily care for residents in a respectful, supportive environment. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and mobility in accordance with each resident's plan.

Responsibilities include noting changes to the nurse, following safety and infection-control guidelines, and helping residents participate in activities. This role has no direct supervisory duties and requires teamwork within a care facility.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using appropriate techniques.
• Communicate information and observed changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Encourage social participation and assist with scheduled activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional condition to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Ensure personal care needs align with each resident's preferences and schedule.
• Support safety drills and other essential tasks as assigned.
