Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Forayna Davis Park in Durham, NC. You will perform routine maintenance, coordinate make-ready repairs after move-outs, and ensure a safe, well-kept community for residents and staff.

Requirements include 2+ years in maintenance, EPA/OSHA/Fair Housing certifications, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. On-site role with uniforms provided and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment.
• Must be able to take calls for emergency requests.
• May need to drive a golf cart.
• Company provided uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance on units and equipment.
• Move heavy appliances as needed.
• Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs after move-outs.
• Comply with EPA/OSHA regulations for hazardous materials.
• Create and assist with work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for curb appeal.
• Ensure amenities and grounds are ready for review.
• Walk move-outs to assess damages and report to supervisor.
