Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the physical integrity of our luxury apartment communities. You will perform routine maintenance, manage make-readies, and ensure safe storage of materials in compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations.

Join our on-site maintenance team to diagnose issues, coordinate work orders, and support residents with a timely, professional approach while adhering to company standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a related field.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Works as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment.
• Must be able to take calls for emergency requests.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation for supplies and other duties.
• May need to drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment.
• Move heavy appliances and equipment as needed.
• Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs after move out.
• Ensure compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations on hazardous materials storage and management.
• Create and assist with work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for curb appeal.
• Ensure amenities and grounds are ready for review.
• Walk move-outs to assess damages and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
