Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Advanced Certified MA to support Mercy Primary Care Providers in delivering safe, timely, and patient-centered care. You will collaborate with patients and the care team to drive quality outcomes across outpatient settings.

Requirements include MA certification maintenance, clinic academy training, and 1 year of outpatient experience. Hospital outpatient roles may require BLS certification and related competencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Current MA moving to Certified Advanced MA title must complete MA competencies.
• Must actively maintain MA certification.
• Hospital Outpatient: BLS certification.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience: 1 year outpatient/ambulatory care patient care experience.
• Non-HOD Clinics: BLS certification.
