Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Advanced Certified Medical Assistant to work under the primary care operations team with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualified candidates have CMA eligibility or CMA certification, completed MA training, and at least one year of patient care or medical office experience. Training through the MA Clinic Academy is required for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• One year of applicable patient care or medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced standard rooming with overall achievement >=90% for the last 6 months including AWV questionnaire and documentation.
• Complete thorough medication reconciliation and close all open care gaps as indicated (Fall Risk, Depression, Breast Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening, Diabetes Eye Exam).
• Blood pressure recheck for patients with elevated readings.
• Complete Patient Experience Conversation.
• Promote Mercy Service Standards and participate in a team-based care approach.
