Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Advanced Certified MA to work under the primary care operations team, supporting providers and the care team to deliver patient-centered, safe and efficient care.

The role requires MA program completion, ongoing certification maintenance, clinic academy training, and strong rooming, reconciliation, and care-gap closing performance. Mercy highlights comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic.
• Coworkers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
• Must actively maintain certification or transition to Medical Assistant title.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Complete Advanced Standard Rooming with overall achievement >= 90% for the last 6 months including AWV questionnaire and documentation.
• Thorough Medication Reconciliation and closing all open care gaps as indicated Encounter Guide (Fall Risk, Depression, Breast Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Diabetes Eye Exam).

Responsabilités

• Complete Advanced Standard Rooming with overall achievement >= 90% for the last 6 months including AWV questionnaire and documentation.
• Thorough Medication Reconciliation.
• Closing all open care gaps as indicated Encounter Guide (Fall Risk, Depression, Breast Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Diabetes Eye Exam).
• Blood Pressure Recheck for patients with elevated initial blood pressure reading.
• Completion of Patient Experience Conversation.
