Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors seeks experienced professionals to partner with NCA to search, acquire, and lead a small to mid-sized company as CEO under the Full-time Operator-Led Buyout (OLBO) Program.

You will spearhead a up-to-24-month professional search, with comprehensive support from NCA and an attractive incentive package including base compensation and vested equity in the acquired business. Successful candidates operate in the US and do not pursue startups.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with leadership roles and P&L responsibility.
• Min. 10+ years of proven track record running and growing businesses in the US.
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
• Deep expertise and/or strategic vision in Business Services, Software/Tech-Enabled, or Distribution & Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Establish a search process to generate deal flow for a business to acquire.
• Manage the acquisition process with support from our Investment Management team.
• Step into the CEO role of the acquired business.
• Develop long-term strategy and 100-day plans for growth.
• Grow top line via marketing and sales initiatives.
• Review offerings, portfolio strategies and identify improvements.
• Manage geographical expansions and market-entry strategies.
• Ensure profitability and efficiency.
