Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors seeks experienced executives to partner with us to search, acquire and lead a SME as Chief Executive Officer under our OLBO program. You will spearhead a 24-month professional search in the US with comprehensive support from our Investment Management team.

The role offers base compensation and vested shares in the acquired company, aligning entrepreneurial opportunity with long-term value creation. We do not invest in startups.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
• Min. 10+ years running and growing businesses or business units in the US.
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship and sector focus in Business Services, Software/Tech-Enabled, or Distribution/Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Establish a search process to generate deal flow and identify a business to acquire in the US.
• Manage the acquisition process with support from the Investment Management team.
• Step into the CEO role of the acquired company and lead growth initiatives.
• Develop long-term strategy and 100-day plans, expand geographically when needed.
• Ensure profitable growth through marketing and operational improvements.
• Review offerings, portfolio strategy and market positioning for gaps.
