Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor systems, including Centac and Turbo Air models. The role covers sites across Dallas, San Antonio, Pomona, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Tulsa, Edmond and requires hands-on work with precise measurements.

You will read schematics, document activities, and communicate with customers while coordinating parts with the Service Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience.
• Proficient with hand tools and basic measurements.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and research technical issues.
• Document service activities with work orders and time sheets.
• Suggest improvements and promote service offerings to customers.
• Perform safety assessments and start-up support.
• Coordinate parts with Service Coordinator to complete jobs.
• Explain procedures to suppliers and others outside the area.
• Conduct basic vibration and air quality troubleshooting.
