Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager to lead the Autocentres team and deliver an exceptional customer journey across our services. You will drive performance, coach staff, and ensure safety standards are met, while delivering strong KPI results.

Qualifications

• Leadership within automotive or similar industry.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and on-the-job training.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety compliance standards.
• Experience with high sales turnover and KPI management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with IT systems and willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the centre team to deliver outstanding customer journeys and satisfaction.
• Drive business performance by meeting KPIs and sales targets.
• Coach and develop staff with an in-the-moment training approach.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across the centre.
• Manage scheduling, resource allocation and operational tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Utilise in-house IT systems to support operations.
• Support employee development and performance reviews.

• On-target earnings up to £58,078
• Comprising a base salary of £37,459 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £13,800 per year.
• 5 days a week (closed on Sunday's)

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
