Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager to lead the National Tyres and Autocare operation, guiding the team to deliver an excellent customer journey and drive business performance across the centre.

You will recruit, coach, and manage staff, ensuring safety standards and KPI targets are met while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role offers progression and extensive benefits within a growing UK motoring services business.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in automotive or similar
• Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction
• Coaching-based approach to team development and training
• Experience meeting Health and Safety compliance standards
• Experience with high sales turnover and KPI management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good IT literacy and ability to learn in-house systems
• Strong time management and prioritisation
• Current valid driving licence

• On-target earnings up to £50,312
• Comprising a base salary of £32,957 - £40,912

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
