What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for direct callers and walk-in customers
  • Maintain schedules of staff providing individual appointments and group programs
  • Manage daily scheduling and notify customers of unscheduled staff absences
  • Enroll customers in workshops, classes, and individual appointments
  • Participate in emergency response exercises and execute assigned responsibilities

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing administrative support in a medical or social service office
  • Proficiency with computer and office automation software
  • Experience providing scheduling services and customer service support
  • Ability to work autonomously and respond well in crisis situations

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365
  • Experience in a multi-line telephone system and general front office skills
  • Understanding and empathy for diverse backgrounds of military personnel and families
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated personality
