What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for direct callers and walk-in customers
  • Maintain current schedules and rosters for staff and upcoming group programs
  • Manage daily scheduling and notify customers of staff absences and rescheduled appointments
  • Enroll customers in workshops, classes, and individual appointments
  • Participate in emergency response exercises and ensure all service metrics are recorded

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED with two years of administrative support experience in a medical or social service office
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to perform well in crisis situations
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Experience with multi-tasking and multi-line telephone systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Familiarity with the FFSMIS system is desired
  • Previous experience providing scheduling services in a healthcare or similar environment
  • Understanding of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
