What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for individuals and group programs
  • Maintain current schedules and rosters for staff and programs
  • Manage daily scheduling and reschedule appointments as needed
  • Enroll customers in workshops, classes, and individual appointments
  • Participate in emergency response exercises and fulfill assigned responsibilities

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED with two years of experience in administrative support in a medical or social service office
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with multi-tasking and multi-line telephone systems
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Familiarity with the FFSMIS system
  • Experience providing scheduling services in a healthcare or social services context
  • Sensitivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds, especially within military families
