Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso seeks an experienced Central Scheduling Manager to oversee clinic scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-visit processes in the NHC NAIP Visc Call department. You will coordinate cross‑functional workflows with clinical teams and payors to ensure efficient patient access.

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. Three years in management, with a background in managed care and process improvement, plus bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Three years of management/supervisory experience required.
• Experience in managed care and pay issues is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee centralized scheduling process for invasive and diagnostic services and pre-registration.
• Coordinate insurance verification, pre-authorization, and patient status.
• Develop and improve operating policies, procedures, and performance initiatives.
