Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Central Region seeks an Apprenticeship and Training Representative to expand registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. You will collaborate with employers, unions, schools, and community partners to strengthen opportunities for learning and long-term careers.

You will develop, approve, grow, and review programs across your region, provide outreach and guidance, conduct compliance reviews, and support sponsors from launch to expansion while

Qualifications

• One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1 or
• Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor’s degree
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist employers, unions, schools, and community partners in creating and strengthening apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs
• Provide advice on program standards, registration requirements, reporting processes, and ongoing program operations
• Conduct provisional and compliance reviews, document findings, and help programs meet policy requirements
• Build relationships with workforce, education, and industry partners while promoting apprenticeship opportunities throughout the region
• Track communications, deliver timely follow-up, and help sponsors launch, maintain, and expand successful programs
• Deliver presentations, share apprenticeship information with stakeholders, and participate in meetings, committees, and advisory groups
