Job summary

German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GACCNY) seeks a part-time, locally based coordinator to support apprenticeship services and consortium activities in the Lehigh Valley region.

You will provide administrative, logistical, and relationship support for participating employers, apprentices, education partners, workforce organizations, and other stakeholders. Strong organization and an in-person presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in apprenticeship, workforce development, or related field.
• Ability to organize schedules, records, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local contact for employers, apprentices, schools, and partners.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, recruitment events, and regional engagements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and monitoring of apprentices.
• Maintain records and assist with program documentation and reports.
• Coordinate assessments, mentor training, and logistics for programs.
