Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Central Region Apprenticeship and Training Representative to expand registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. You will build partnerships with employers, unions, schools, and community partners to grow learning opportunities and provide guidance on program standards and operations.

In this role, you will conduct outreach, assist with sponsor launches, and deliver trainings while working from a home office up to part-time telework.

Qualifications

• One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent).
• Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• This position requires federally compliant identification (U.S. Passport, REAL ID, or Military ID) at conditional offer.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement and be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, approve, grow and review apprenticeship programs across the region.
• Provide outreach, technical guidance, and compliance support to help programs succeed.
• Build partnerships with workforce, education and industry partners.
• Track communications with sponsors and assist in launching and expanding programs.
• Deliver presentations and training to stakeholders and participate in committees and advisory groups.
