Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Stationary Engineer to maintain, operate, monitor, and repair central plant equipment for hospital and clinic facilities. You will handle preventative and corrective maintenance, document activities, and respond to maintenance requests to ensure reliable utility services.

The role requires experience with water treatment, HVAC controls, EMS systems and OSHA/NFPA70E standards, with strong math, communication, and multitasking abilities. On-site work in Louisiana is typical.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems.
• Experience using HVAC/Temperature controls and Energy Management Systems.
• OSHA Basic, NFPA70E.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under stress.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry competitors.
• Ability to multitask and work beyond standard scope when needed.

Responsibilities

• Properly answers the phone and resolves requests using department name.
• Monitors and operates power plant equipment for maximum efficiency.
• Troubleshoots engineering equipment and systems per manufacturer parameters.
• Operates Energy Management System and adjusts schedules based on loads.
• Conducts building rounds and reports problems to supervisor.
