Job summary

Mann Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative to grow our business across Central Florida. The ideal candidate knows the fire alarm industry and has strong relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, and building owners.

Based in the Central Florida area, this role involves developing new business, pursuing construction projects, and collaborating with our estimating team on competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fire alarm sales experience.
• Strong relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, and building owners.
• Experience selling new construction fire alarm systems, system upgrades, and replacements.
• Understanding of construction drawings and bidding processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and generate sales opportunities.
• Pursue new construction projects and major fire alarm upgrades.
• Work with our estimating team to prepare competitive proposals.
• Follow up on submitted proposals and help turn bids into awarded projects.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify future opportunities.
• Track sales activity and project opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, code changes, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to contractors, owners, and decision-makers.
• Manage and report on sales pipeline, activities, and forecasts in CRM.
