Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a Central Division Manager, Foodservice! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to our success. Founded by three maverick farmers, we continue to make our own way.

The Central Division Manager for Foodservice is a key leadership role focused on driving strategy, revenue, relationship building, and execution within distribution development and broker field sales teams in the assigned geography. This role will also lead our two largest corporate accounts to accelerate growth. The candidate will leverage enterprise resources, including broker partners, to achieve profitable growth and foster a 'how might we' mindset.

This is a remote position based in the Central Time Zone, with a preference for Texas and Illinois. Benefits include a car allowance, sales incentive, and a target company bonus of 15%.

A Day in the Life...
  1. Lead strategic contract design and joint business planning with HQ distribution partners like Sysco, USF, and super regionals.
  2. Manage broker relationships, develop regional sales opportunities, provide training, and create trimester plans.
  3. Navigate negotiations and effectively manage conflicts.
  4. Design, manage, and optimize trade strategies.
  5. Present customer business plans.
  6. Support broker deduction management and repayment processes.
  7. Lead change initiatives and guide teams through transformation.
  8. Travel (~25%) to meet distributors, conduct broker market visits, and attend industry events.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in foodservice manufacturer sales, including HQ broadline distributor development (Sysco or USF) and broker sales development.
  • Strong strategy development skills and an innovative mindset.
  • Proactive disposition.
  • Understanding of digital compliance and shelf management.
  • Knowledge of distributor trends, strategic planning, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to interpret distributor data and translate into actionable goals.
  • Highly collaborative, able to thrive in a matrixed environment across all levels and functions.
  • Leadership presence with strong command of all foodservice segments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Empowering and inspiring leadership style.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft, or equivalents is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Education:

Bachelor's degree (Required)

Work Experience:

At least 7 years of relevant experience.
