Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a Central Division Manager, Foodservice! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to our success, started by three maverick farmers who paved our way.

Role Overview

The Central Division Manager for Foodservice is a key leadership role focused on driving strategy, revenue growth, relationship building, and execution across distribution development and broker field sales in the assigned geography. The role also involves leading our two largest corporate accounts to accelerate growth, utilizing enterprise resources and broker partners to ensure profitable expansion.

Position Details

This is a remote position based in the Central Time Zone, preferably in Texas or Illinois. Benefits include a car allowance, sales incentive, and a target company bonus of 15%.

A Day in the Life
  1. Lead strategic contract design and joint business planning with HQ distribution partners such as Sysco, USF, and super regionals.
  2. Manage broker partners, develop regional sales opportunities, provide training, and create trimester plans.
  3. Navigate negotiations and manage conflicts effectively.
  4. Design, manage, and optimize trade strategies.
  5. Present customer business plans.
  6. Support broker deduction management and repayment processes.
  7. Lead change initiatives and guide teams through transitions.
  8. Travel (~25%) to meet with distributors, conduct broker market visits, and attend industry events.
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in foodservice manufacturer sales, including broadline distributor development (Sysco or USF) and broker sales development.
  • Strong strategic development skills and an innovative mindset.
  • Proactive disposition and understanding of digital compliance/shelf management.
  • Knowledge of distributor trends, strategic planning, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to interpret distributor data and translate into actionable goals.
  • Highly collaborative, thriving in a matrix environment across all levels and functions.
  • Leadership presence with strong command of all foodservice segments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Empowering and inspiring disposition.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required; at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
