Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a Central Division Manager, Foodservice! We are a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to our success, starting from our roots with three maverick farmers who established our company.

The Central Division Manager for the Foodservice channel is a key leadership role focused on driving strategy, revenue, and relationship building within the assigned geography. This role involves leading distribution development, broker field sales teams, and managing our two largest corporate accounts to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will leverage enterprise resources and broker partnerships to promote profitable growth with a passion for innovation.

This is a remote position based in the Central Time Zone, preferably in Texas or Illinois. Benefits include a car allowance, sales incentive, and a target company bonus of 15%.

A Day in the Life...
  • Lead strategic contract design and joint business planning with HQ distribution partners such as Sysco, USF, and super regionals
  • Manage broker partners, develop regional sales opportunities, and provide training
  • Navigate negotiations and manage conflicts effectively
  • Design, manage, and optimize trade strategies
  • Present customer business plans
  • Support broker deduction management and repayment processes
  • Lead change initiatives and guide teams through transformations
  • Travel (~25%) to meet with distributors, conduct market visits, and attend industry events
What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in foodservice manufacturer sales, distributor development (Sysco or USF), and broker sales development
  • Strong strategy development skills and an innovative mindset
  • Proactive disposition and understanding of digital compliance/shelf
  • Knowledge of distributor trends, strategic planning, and industry best practices
  • Ability to interpret distributor data and set actionable goals
  • Collaborative attitude, able to thrive in a matrixed environment
  • Leadership presence with a strong command of foodservice segments
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Empowering and inspiring team support skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
