Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a Central Division Manager, Foodservice! We are a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to our success. Founded by three maverick farmers, we've been forging our own path ever since.

The Central Division Manager for Foodservice is a key leadership role focused on Ocean Spray's growth channels. This leader will develop strategies, drive revenue, build relationships, and oversee execution for distribution development and broker field sales teams within the assigned geography. Additionally, this role will manage our two largest corporate accounts to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will leverage enterprise resources, including broker partners, to foster profitable growth and embody a 'how might we' mindset.

This is a remote position based in the Central Time Zone, with a preference for Texas and Illinois. Benefits include a car allowance, sales incentives, and a target bonus of 15%.

A Day in the Life...
  1. Lead strategic contract design and joint business planning with HQ distribution partners such as Sysco, USF, and super regionals.
  2. Manage broker partners, develop regional sales opportunities, provide training, and create trimester plans.
  3. Navigate negotiations and manage conflicts effectively.
  4. Design, manage, and optimize trade strategies.
  5. Present customer business plans.
  6. Support broker deduction management and repayment processes.
  7. Lead change initiatives and guide teams through transitions.
  8. Travel (~25%) to meet with distributors, conduct broker market visits, and attend industry events.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in foodservice manufacturer sales, including HQ broadline distributor development (Sysco or USF) and broker sales development.
  • Strong strategic development skills and an innovative mindset.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Understanding of digital compliance and shelf management.
  • Knowledge of distributor trends, strategic planning, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to interpret distributor data and translate it into actionable goals.
  • Highly collaborative, able to thrive in a matrix environment across all levels and functions.
  • Leadership presence with strong command of all foodservice segments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Disposition that empowers and inspires teams.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft, or equivalents is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)

At least 8 years of relevant experience
