Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Coordinator - Ancillary Staffing to provide centralized staffing coordination for ancillary float-pool resources across Medical Group, Perioperative Services, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, and other areas. You will evaluate staffing needs and align resources with service demands.

You will serve as the main contact for staffing activity, communicate assignments and coverage, maintain records, and support timely staffing across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of staffing, scheduling, workforce coordination in healthcare operations required; 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews staffing needs and allocates ancillary float-pool resources across locations and departments.
• Serves as the centralized point of contact for ancillary float-pool staffing activity.
• Communicates assignments, changes, and coverage status to staff and leaders within established timeframes.
• Uses staffing, scheduling, and workforce systems to maintain current staffing information and records.
• Evaluates requests and escalates issues to leadership to ensure timely coverage.
