Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to coordinate staffing across assigned patient care units, ensuring seamless operations when team members are out sick or unavailable. You will assign float staff and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with department leadership as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and experience with word processing and database management. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in data management, computer science, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in staffing or scheduling is preferred.
• Experience with word processing and database management is required.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate staffing for assigned patient care units in collaboration with department leadership and/or other staff as appropriate.
• Assign float staff to adjust for sickness, absences, and census.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy and strong critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures; refer exceptions to the manager/designee or director as appropriate.
