The role involves working with eReferral platforms, reviewing clinical and financial documents, ensuring accurate payer information, and contributing to process improvements to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a healthcare setting with patient admissions in sales/marketing or clinical capacity.
• Post-acute healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing clinical and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and coordinate patient admissions within the Central Admissions Office (CAO).
• Oversee eReferral platforms (Allscripts/Careport, NaviHealth, Ensocare, etc.) and maintain timely responses (<20 minutes).
• Keep center profile information up-to-date and monitor bed availability daily.
• Assist Case Managers and sales/marketing teams in post-acute placement decisions.
• Use CRM to track accepted referrals and initiate admission process.
• Obtain clinical documentation from hospitals to support services and reimbursement.
• Verify insurance information to ensure valid payer sources and smooth admission.
