Job summary

UCLA's Center of Philanthropy and Nonprofits is seeking a Center Manager to oversee program operations, budgets, staffing, and event logistics. You will coordinate daily workflows and support communications and marketing efforts for the center.

The role requires 3-5 years in event coordination/office management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years event coordination and/or office management experience.
• Experience tracking payments & expenditures managing budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to hire and manage student employees and implement office management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Center's budget by developing and tracking programmatic and event-specific budgets.
• Oversee staffing needs including hiring and training staff; coordinate daily workflow.
• Lead the execution of events (conferences, lunch talks, speaker series, symposia) and related activities.
• Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to draft departmental communications and maintain the Center’s website.
