Job summary

UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate is seeking a capable administrator to manage development (fundraising) activities and undergraduate programs. You will coordinate donor communications, oversee event planning, and collaborate with university partners to advanceCenter initiatives.

The role requires strong writing, superior organizational skills, and the ability to work evenings/weekends as needed. Experience with university student affairs and CRM systems is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing quality customer service in high-traffic environments.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends, including at remote locations.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional interaction with diverse groups.
  • High level analytical and creative problem-solving skills, organized.
  • Experience interfacing with university-level students and student affairs (preferred).
  • General familiarity with constituent databases and CRM (preferred).
  • Excellent writing and editing for letters, proposals, and announcements.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with center constituents.
  • Discretion with confidential donor information and deadlines.
  • Project management for large conferences and events.
  • Diplomatic communication; independent work; travel policy knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide broad project management of development activities and undergraduate student programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and data integrity.
  • Coordinate conferences and events with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Draft, edit, and proof communications, invitations, and proposals.
