Job summary

Octapharma Plasma is seeking a Center Operations Manager II to lead donor center operations, ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP, and drive production quality. You will oversee inspections, CAPA initiatives, safety, and inventory while guiding a capable team.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a preferred Bachelor’s degree; daytime/evening hours and occasional shifts are expected. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of people management including recruiting, training, etc.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Background in financial management and/or budgeting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a thorough understanding of and ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations to maintain the highest production standards.
• Assists in hosting internal and external inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Collaborates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborates with relevant departments to implement CAPA to address identified issues.
• Responsible for mitigating and resolving safety concerns.
• Oversees preventive maintenance of donor center equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Prepares product shipments and ensures compliance per SOPs.
• Assists with achieving targeted production in quantity and quality while optimizing costs and inventory.
• Provides feedback for employee performance evaluations and development plans.
• Assists in hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations aligned with business needs.
• Conducts area walkthroughs and maintains presence in production zones.
• Assists with scheduling and payroll records and staff meetings.
